someone passing your door.

Pay for qualifying acknowledgments. Real local people opt in to get messages in our app while they are out and about. When a member taps the WilDi button to acknowledge yours and it qualifies, you pay one fixed price, from $0.25, and the member earns a share of the advertising spend. Using your special is separate. No auction and no middleman.

How WilDi works

Choose where. Send your message. Pay for qualifying acknowledgments.

The whole thing, start to finish. No auction, no guesswork.

  1. 1
    Choose an area

Pick a road, a neighborhood, or your whole city on the map. That's where your message goes.

  2. 2
    Write your message

Write a short message, add a special if you have one, and set your budget. No pixels, no audiences to build, no dashboard to learn.

  3. 3
    Members acknowledge it

It reaches our app on the phones of real people in your area. A member taps the WilDi button to acknowledge it and earns a share. Every acknowledgment is checked against the phone that received the message.

  4. 4
See what was delivered and what you paid

You pay only for qualifying acknowledgments. Your report also shows later visits to your business as a separate count. An acknowledgment is not a visit or a purchase.

Why we built WilDi

Businesses deserve a simple, honest way to reach real people. We built WilDi because one did not exist.

Mike and Timm built WilDi because they were frustrated. Advertising on the major platforms had become a job of its own. A simple local campaign meant complicated dashboards, pixels and tags, audiences, bids, shifting costs, questionable traffic, and sometimes hiring someone just to keep it all running.

Even after doing everything right, it was hard to know whether the money produced an ad anyone could have seen, let alone any return at all.

They believed businesses deserved something better: a direct, transparent, affordable way to reach real people in the places that matter. So they built WilDi.

Field proof

Week one: real people walked in.

During an April 2026 pilot with a sports bar in Jacksonville, locals out and about got a WilDi message about a place they had never been to. Some later went there and posted about it to their own followers, unprompted. One small pilot, not a promise of results: just real people walking through a real door.

Visit tracking

Your message went out.
Did anyone stop by later? Now you can see.

Visits are a separate count, observed later. When an opted-in person who received your message stops at your business, the visit appears on your dashboard, live. A visit is not part of the acknowledgment you pay for, and it is not a guaranteed result.

Counted when they stop by

WilDi watches a small area around your business and your message destinations, about 500 feet, sized to the building. When an opted-in person's phone enters it, the visit appears on your dashboard in realtime.

Drive-bys don't count as visits

Someone who only drove past is shown as its own separate number, never folded into your visit count. The headline number is people who actually stopped.

“Received your message first”

When a visitor received one of your messages in the 7 days before arriving, the visit is badged as message-attributed. That shows the visit came later, inside a stated window. It does not prove the message caused it.

Arrivals, never identities

Visitors appear as Arrival 1, Arrival 2. Counts, not people. Nothing links two arrivals to one individual, by design, and identity is never shared.

The platform

One local network. Three ways to reach people nearby.

Choose a road or an area on the map, and decide when to reach the people passing through it. Every message goes to a real person's phone on a real street, and you pay only for qualifying acknowledgments: the member taps the WilDi button and the acknowledgment passes our billing rules.

01 · Tunnel

Choose a road.

The 1-mile stretch of road leading up to your shop, in front of a competitor, or on a route that feeds traffic your way. Wherever the traffic is.

Your message is delivered to people in our app who travel that stretch, day or night, and you pay only when one of them acknowledges it and the acknowledgment qualifies. Corridors are shared: other advertisers can run the same road.

02 · Zone

Choose an area.

A neighborhood-sized area of about 0.28 square miles (one map hexagon): the streets and side roads around a district you want to reach.

A zone is exclusive: one advertiser per hexagon. Your message reaches people in our app anywhere inside it, on every corridor and cross-street, around the clock.

Everyone on the WilDi network. No time caps, no corridor limits.

Nationwide by default: every phone on the WilDi network, wherever participating members are (Jacksonville is where members are active today). Or target one area, your city or your side of town, and delivery stops the moment someone leaves it.

Waste audit

On the big ad platforms, less than half your dollar even becomes a qualified impression.

That is not WilDi, and we don't like that. It is not our estimate either. The advertising industry audits itself every quarter, matching impression-level logs between the platforms that buy and the platforms that sell. The newest read (Q2 2026): 45.1 cents of the dollar became an impression that clears the industry's own quality bar (measurable, viewable, not fraud, not a made-for-advertising site). Whether a person then looked at it is a separate question the benchmark does not answer. Set your monthly budget and see the same arithmetic applied to it.

Source: ANA Programmatic Transparency Benchmark, Q2 2026 (Association of National Advertisers with TAG TrustNet and Fiducia; Q2 figures as reported by Fiducia), all environments: transaction costs 27.2%, and 45.1% of spend became a benchmark-qualified impression. Medians across the large national advertisers in the benchmark. The ANA splits participants at the median of that figure; the lower-performing half sits at 31.1% (Q2 2026), which is where a business without a supply-path team realistically lands. Older quarters: Q3 2025 web and mobile, 47.1%, Q4 2025 lower half 38%.
How the map works

Corridors are shared. Zones are yours alone.

An illustration of how the map works, not live inventory: you see real availability when you pick your area after signing up. Every hexagon is a neighborhood you can choose. Green = available: choose the road past your shop or the neighborhood you serve. Red = taken: a zone holds one business, so while it is yours no competitor runs deliveries in it. Amber = premium exclusives. Blue road stretches = corridors: shared roads more than one business can run. People in our app who pass through receive your message, and you pay only when one of them acknowledges it and the acknowledgment qualifies.

How verification works

How we know it is a real person.

Here is the mechanism, step by step. Every part of it is something a skeptical buyer can check in their own report.

01

A real person, not a cookie

Every billed delivery is a WilDi button tap in the WilDi app by a signed-up, opted-in member. We screen for fraud and credit back any billed delivery later found invalid. There is no browser cookie and no ad exchange in the path.

02

GPS + motion confirm a real trip

The app reads the phone's own GPS and motion sensors to confirm the device is a real person moving through real streets near your business. Not an IP guess, not a server in a data center.

03

No auction in the path

Programmatic ads pass through a bidding stream of exchanges and resellers. WilDi has no auction and no middleman: your message goes straight from our servers to a phone in our app.

04

You pay for qualifying acknowledgments

We charge only when the message reaches a verified device, the person holding it taps the WilDi button to acknowledge it, and that acknowledgment passes our billing rules. A message that is delivered but never acknowledged is never billed, and flagged emulators, multi-account abuse, and bot behavior never reach your bill.

05

Members earn a share when they acknowledge. Here is what that does and does not mean.

A member earns a share of the advertising spend when they tap the WilDi button, and we say so plainly. (In older app versions the button says Claim or Got it.) The acknowledgment only qualifies if the phone received that message inside the area you chose, with its own GPS and motion showing a real trip. One acknowledgment per delivery; duplicates, our own staff and test traffic, flagged emulators and multi-account abuse are excluded and never billed. A member cannot acknowledge a message they were never sent. An acknowledgment is not a redemption, a visit, a purchase or proof of attention. Your report shows the evidence behind every acknowledgment.

The message screen

A real person taps the WilDi button. No acknowledgment, no charge.

This is what someone sees when your message reaches their phone. They open it and tap the WilDi button to acknowledge it. You only pay once a real person acknowledges it on a real device and the acknowledgment qualifies. Using your special is separate.

FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

How much does it cost to start advertising on WilDi Maps?

The Starter tier opens with a $50 deposit, and that deposit becomes your campaign funds. Background messages on Starter cost $0.50 per qualifying acknowledgment (formally, a verified delivery), so the first deposit pays for 100 qualifying acknowledgments from real local people. There is no auction and no platform fee stacked on top.

What exactly counts as a verified delivery?

A verified delivery is a qualifying acknowledgment. Your message reaches the phone of one real person who was physically inside your chosen geography at that moment (GPS on the device itself confirms the location), and that person taps the WilDi button to acknowledge it. If the acknowledgment passes our billing rules, it is a verified delivery, and it is the only thing you are billed for. A message that reaches a phone but is never acknowledged is never billed. An acknowledgment is not a redemption, a visit, a purchase or proof of attention. Bots, background tabs, and off-screen impressions cannot generate one.

What is the difference between background, zone, and tunnel ads?

Background has no area limit by default, so it can deliver anywhere member coverage is active, or you limit it to one area you choose (your city, your side of town) so budget is never spent outside it. Coverage is built one place at a time and we will tell you where and when it exists. A zone is a neighborhood-sized area held by one business at a time: while it is yours, no competitor can run there. A tunnel is a one-mile stretch of road you can place anywhere, and it follows the road's contours, ideal for the approach to your shop or a route your customers already drive.

What are the WilDi Maps plan tiers?

Four public tiers: Starter ($50 minimum deposit, background only), Local ($250, up to 2 tunnels and 1 zone), Pro ($1,000, up to 8 tunnels and 5 zones), and Enterprise ($3,000, up to 25 tunnels and 15 zones). Background rates per qualifying acknowledgment step down by tier, from $0.50 on Starter to $0.25 on Enterprise. An Agency tier is available through sales.

Who gets my message?

Real local people who opted in to get messages in our app while they are out and about. Not bots, not a gig fleet. Location is reported by the phone itself, and a member who acknowledges your message earns a share of the advertising spend. There is no ad exchange in the loop, and an acknowledgment only qualifies from a phone that received your message inside the area you chose.

Where is WilDi Maps available?

WilDi Golf, WilDi Events and the Featured Sponsors List are nationwide: courses, events and sponsors anywhere in the US. WilDi Maps is focused on Jacksonville, Florida, where members are active today. A Maps business anywhere can target its own area or go nationwide, and messages are delivered only where participating members are. If you want members active in your market, talk to sales.

What happens when someone opens my message?

They can tap the WilDi button to acknowledge it, and separately choose Get directions, visit your website, or open your app page. Every acknowledgment is logged with time and location. Later visits to your business are measured separately, inside a stated window; an acknowledgment is not a visit or a purchase.

Is there a contract or long-term commitment?

No long-term contract. You can pause campaigns or stop refilling at any time, and your remaining balance keeps working until it is spent.
